LOCAL NUMBER PORTABILITY

Allows telephone customers in the US to retain their local telephone, cellular or Internet telephone service providers' phone numbers when switching service providers. Net Talk.com Inc. offers free of charge the ability to bring your current phone number to Net Talk.

Our web site will provide online tools in the future to check if your phone number can be brought over to Net Talk and what forms are needed by local exchange carriers to authorize Net Talk to act on your behalf to complete the move of your phone number.

Although Net Talk makes every attempt to work with all local exchange carriers and other telephone service providers across the United States, certain local or regional guidelines may preclude your current provider from releasing your number to Net Talk. In such cases a new number from Interlink Global would be required to subscribe to our service.

The process can take up to three weeks to complete and Net Talk will provide a temporary phone number during the process as well as turn off old service with customer provide LNP.
